Evergreen wants to be a safe place for children to come. We also want parents to know that we take their children’s safety and innocence very seriously. Toward that end we have developed a Child Protection Policy. This policy lays out specific responsibilities and limitations for workers in every aspect of children’s ministries here at Evergreen. Compliance is a requirement for participation in children’s ministry.

Applications must be filled out and submitted before involvement in ministry as of September 1, 2008. Background check authorization is a required part of the application process. All background checks will be held in the strictest confidence as outlined in the policy.
