Jon Rumley has been the teaching or senior Pastor at Evergreen since 1988. He is a graduate of Taylor University (1975 - BA) and Grace Theological Seminary (1982 - ThM). Pastor Jon has over 30 years of ministry experience.

Jon’s ministry passion is to teach and preach the Bible  in an understandable and compelling manner. His conviction is that in the Bible, God has given everything necessary for life and godliness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Nona Rumley works alongside Jon in his pastoral ministry, particularly as he is called upon for counseling. She is his greatest encourager and closest confidant. God has given Jon & Nona two children, Heather and JC. Heather is a missionary to South Africa with Evangelical Baptist Missions and JC is a growing teen in the Michigan City schools.

Ryon Adcock has been the Assistant to the Pastor since August of 2004. He is a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA (2004 - BA). His role is to assist Pastor Jon in all facets of church ministry, but with an emphasis on youth ministry.

Youth ministry is Ryon’s passion. He has worked with teens as a volunteer youth worker at Lakewood Baptist Church in Auburn, Indiana and Heritage Baptist Church in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. His desire is to disciple teens into effective servants of Jesus Christ who faithfully serve Him as adults.

Lisa Adcock works alongside Ryon in all phases of his ministry, but has a special role being “Mom” to two preschoolers: Jadon and Abigail.

The Adcocks love to use their home as a ministry center and are a great blessing to families with teens and other young adults like themselves.
