Training children is a biblical imperative we take seriously at Evergreen. Jesus said,
"Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
(Matthew 19:14)
We are committed to teaching the Word of God to children for the purpose of introducing them to Jesus Christ as the only Savior from sin and the only Lord of their lives. In doing this, we see ourselves as being assistants to parents, not substitutes for them.
